i completed my graduation in bachelor of commerce.. and my options are master of commerce and the other was b.ed.. as i’ am not at all interested in teaching profession.. i’ am interested to go into software side.. i don’t know what courses to join for that…

Answer: web design alone may not get an attractive job. this is a good starting point but since you mentioned job I suggest you immerse into the world of animations..also for the web design paradigm has changed a lot these days. now a days app are developed to traget devices like tablet and smart phones and also most of the applications right from the time they are being designed for are device targetted. they are also following a different archictecture which uses a hybrid of web services and desk top design. so to be a a successful designer you may need to know the following which I consider the basics.

1. HTML 5.0
2. Android or iOS ( depending upon what you like )
3. Web Services
4. Adobe Flex modules
5. Animations with Open GL and Open GL ES ( mobile )

Best of luck…

Look up learning tree web design if you want to go with a paid course. Other companies offer similar stuff.

Or do what a lot of working designers did and go to a bookstore and read books about web design. If you are a pure newbie then start with web design for dummies.

If you want to learn web designing and bulid a career in the field, you have to learn html5, css3 then SASS. SASS is the trending language to design web pages, layouts etc, and its very easy to learn and after it you have to learn trending layouts like responsive, bootstrap etc.
You don’t have to go for the institute and other schools for the web designing, just google it and find the tutorials online, and learn it.

    Requirements:

The digital, media and design industry in San Diego is thriving but it is also a fast-paced profession that requires professionals to stay on the cusp of changing techniques and technologies in the market. One of the best ways to enhance a career in digital, media and design is to take courses from a well-reputed and specialty school that offer established professionals the opportunity to expand on their current knowledge, gain new experience and grow within their current place of business. There are a number of benefits to studying at a college that provides San Diego digital, media and design professionals with courses to elevate their roles within the industry. Some of these advantages include:

    Personalized Education and Service

When an established professional considers taking college courses to enhance their current knowledge of the industry, it is likely that they will have very specific goals in mind. The benefit of working with a college that specializes in digital, media and design for established professionals is that the school caters to students that are looking to succeed within their market and admissions will want to place students in courses that are a match to succeed at obtaining these objectives. When a college understands their students’ success is their own and treats students like an individual and not a number, the outcome is current professionals that reach or exceed their career goals.

    Current Technology and Information

An established professional is not registering for courses to gain the fundamental information where digital design is concerned. In fact professionals from San Diego are in a city that is known for being on the leading edge of the latest in digital design technology and information and the courses that are offered should reflect the needs of the student while still making them marketable in their geographic location after course completion. Courses that are taught by expert professors and using the most up-to-date technology and research ensures that professionals who are going back to school will graduate from their courses with the latest industry knowledge and by applying this information have the potential to be assets to their current or future workplace.

    A Flexible School Structure

Mature students and established professionals do not have the flexibility with scheduling that students do when they apply for a full-time college education straight out of high school. Digital Design professionals that are returning to school need a structure that is designed to fit the student’s life, not the other way around. This structure allows students take one class and focus on one important skill at a time. As the student progresses through their education, their skill set builds on the last class. In addition to a structure geared toward professionals in digital, media and design classes that are offered in the morning, afternoon and evening also help to ensure that any established digital design professional can reach their career goals, even if they have a family or another personal commitment.
