Google, simply because of the way it searches. It uses methods of keyword density and crawling that is scores above the efficiency of Yahoo! and other search engines. It also has a simple interface so one does not have to open a bulky page to begin searching. Also, I also think its toolbar is the most attractive.

I highly recommend using Dogpile as your search engine, it combines the results of Google, Yahoo!, Ask, MSN Live Search and others! So it goes without saying you get MANY results!

But, if I had to choose over Google or Yahoo!, I’d choose Yahoo!, it has a better advanced search option that broadens the horizons. 🙂

Why is Google so good for advertising? First, Google owns about 50% of the search market share (60+% if you include all of its search network partners). A typical website, like say http://www.target.com, receives anywhere from 40 to 70% of its traffic through search. Basically, you potential for traffic is about the size of a truck load (scientific I know).

Google links people’s searches (which are nothing more than peoples thoughts, questions, and/or interests) to people with content around those searches.

Google’s ad program is one of the best and is geared toward improving efficiency in advertising spend by linking the most relevant content to peoples needs. Google is a great place to start gaining exposure about your business.

Be careful if you want to start experimenting on Google. It can be a costly place if you don’t know what you are doing. Checkout these two blogs if you want to learn more/start exploring:

Google is always my first choice. They have a much bigger portion of the market and are most advanced with their capabilities and resources. You need to learn the proper strategies for PPC however to be most successful.

The first important part is to make sure your website is optimized for Google standards to be able to get the most for your PPC campaign, getting the highest position for the smallest bets. That by itself will make a big difference on your ROI.

There are many good educational material available for successful PPC campaigns and I would suggest investing the time to learn them to be most effective… Hope this helps…

    To your success…

Good for you the hardest part is getting started.

SEO stands for search engine optimization.there are many different ways to do SEO. But you need to be careful because if you do it wrong your page rank will drop significantly. A good rule of thumb is if it seems too easy it probably not the correct way to go. If someone can guarantee you page-one ranking overnight. That will eventually hurt you in the long run and your page ranking will drop significantly.
