"The purpose of the Company shall be the protection of life and property from fire and other hazards, or at the summons of the duly elected Chief or Deputy Chief to serve in any emergency endangering public safety." This statement formulated at the founding of the company still holds true today and, with the continued support of the residents of the Seventh Fire District, will for many more years.
