Stations 239,240,149,259,246,247,250,and 191 were alerted for a commercial structure fire at an old floral shop. 239 engine arrived on scene and had heavy fire from side C. Crews from 251 helped with overhaul and extinguished hot spots in the rear of the main fire building. Crews were on scene for about three hours battling the intense flames. Great job to all units that were working at the fire.

Stations 251,246,253,247,259and 239 were alerted for a car on fire inside an attached garage. PD arrived on scene advising units of a fully involved vehicle starting to spread to the residence. Crews got a quick knock on the fire and stopped the flames from spreading into the residence. Great job to all units for stopping the spread of the flames.

Station 248 was originally alerted for a fire alarm at North Hills Sburban MRI. Upon arrival 248 crews had heavy heat inside of the structure. 248 commnd requested the first alarm structure assignmen bringing 251 engine in. 251 was held on station and returned bck nto service a short time later.

Station 251 was requested to standby at 239's station during a working structure fire in Millvale. After about an hour statio 251 returned back into service.

Station 251 was dispatched into 248's first due for a smell of smoke in a commercial structure. While enroute 248 command reported no smell of smoke and held the assignment to 248 and 186. 251 returned back into service.

Station 251 was alerted for a smell of smoke in the basement of Highland Country Club. 249 units arrived on scene and held the RIT on station. 251 returned back into service.

Station 251 was alerted for a smoke detector going off inside the residence. 250 crews investiged and found the source to be burnt food. All units returned back into service.


 
Hot Wires Down

Station 251 was dispatched for reports of wires pulled down by a dump truck on Jacks Run Rd. 251 engine arrived on scene and found a high tension line down on the side of the roadway. Crews notified Duquesne Light and went back into service upon their arrival.

Station 251 was alerted into 248's first due for reports of an oven smoking inside of the residence and they were unable to get it to stop. 248 crews arrived and found the oven had been accidently set to clean . 248 command returned 251 RIT back into service

Station 251 was dispatched into 246's first due for reports of smoke coming from a stove. Upon arrival 251 engine staged behind 252 engine. After crews investigated they found that the stove had just been installed. No fire was found and all units returned back into service.
